Lay Eucharistic Visitors (formerly called Lay Eucharistic Ministers)

These are parishioners who have been trained and licensed by the Diocese to bring the Eucharist to people who are in the hospital or homebound.

Meals Ministry

During difficult times of illness, injury, post-hospitalization, or grieving, this ministry provides dinners for the individual or family.

Flower Delivery Ministry

Flowers from the altar each Sunday are divided into bouquets and delivered to people who might be sick, shut-in, or celebrating a birthday or anniversary.

Hospital Visitation Ministry

In addition to clergy, lay hospital visitors go to see parishioners in local hospitals, including Baptist, South Miami, Doctors, Miami Children’s, Mercy, Jackson South, and Baptist Homestead.

Home Visitation Ministry

This ministry is a team of people who enjoy visiting people who are homebound and cannot get to church services and activities, either long-term or temporarily.
